Harder To Get Credit

Has anyone found it harder to get credit over the past year? I know with the credit crunch things are much tighter but even before then?

When I was a student I was given 4 credit cards with a combined value of £4,500 and an interest free overdraft of £1,900. Now I'm working full time, have a few thousand in the bank, no overdraft and half the debt I used to and they won't lend me anymore money!

It is crazy! God help me when I go for a mortgage!
