Things for a Student To do in London..

I'm going to be a student in London next year - I'm going to be studying for a degree in Commercial Music - I have no idea about anything in London, nightclubs, bars, where not to go, etc. Any Info you have to help me will be greatly received.

London is full of pubs, clubs and venues that offer a variety of entertainment to suit all music tastes. Whilst I've not party'd in London before, I would imagine it would be difficult to find somewhere you like!

Yeah, a few of my friends have suggested places to go - I'm going to go and see all the touristy places in the first week, just so that I can say that I've done it. Things like the London eye, going inside the tower, stuff like that. I cant wait to go.

If your doing music for your degree then there are loads of places you should visit - here are a few that I suggest

Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club
Guanabara
Scala
The Troubadour Club
The Vortex Jazz Club
The Old Blue Last
The Half Moon

If you make it through that list and haven't seen something that tickles your fancy then I'd be very surprised !
