Court for Head Stamping Student
Jame Louise Ward, aged 25, was granted bail today by Belfast Magistrates Course, charged with grievous bodily harm with intent over an alledged attack outside a local bar.
A 23 year old victim is in hospital with serious head injuries after the attacke in the Andersontown area of west Belfast. A detective advised that Ward, of no fixed address, had been drinking in the Whitefort Bar earlier that night.

A disturbance outside in the street after the premises closed, lead to a number of witnesses reporting Ward for stamping on the victim’s head. Ward has also refused to identify another woman Police want to question surrounding the incident.
The female beauty therapy student, who has just completed and NVQ in beauty therapy at Belfast Institute, has been ordered by Judge George Conner to live at her parent’s home and banned her from consuming alcohol or entering licensed premises. Further to these sanctions, Ward is not allowed to enter the Ladybrook area.
Bail was posted at £2,000 and Ward is to appear in court later this month.
